Audible Information Devices

General:

This Authorized Material List for Audible Information Devices is being established. Products will be added as manufacturers and suppliers are authorized in accordance with the Authorization Criteria. Products on this list are evaluated and found acceptable for use on California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) projects, provided the products are used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and are subject to additional Job Control testing during construction or installation.

*As attested to by the supplier as of April 14, 2026 per definition in 2 CFR 184 and 23 CFR 635.410. Stakeholders should use this information in conjunction with corresponding Caltrans special provision section 6-1.04 to understand applicable requirement for the project.
